Bio: Sandra Intrieri is currently principal of Millbrook High School in Millbrook, New York. Millbrook is a small community approximately 90 miles north of New York City. The high school has approximately 400 students with 40 faculty and staff. The teachers are committed to providing the best possible 21st century education for students that will prepare them for college and career. In 2014, the high school piloted the Explore Program for 12th graders; the first senior internship experience in Dutchess County! Previous to her work at Millbrook High School, Ms. Intrieri worked as an Assistant Principal in Dobbs Ferry, New York. At Dobbs Ferry High School, she was intricately involved with the International Baccalaureate Program as well as all aspects of student management. Mrs. Intrieri also was a Social Studies teacher in the Dobbs Ferry, Croton-Harmon and Dover Plains School Districts. Presently, Ms. Intrieri is working towards her Doctorate in Education Leadership at Manhattanville College. Her blog, The Principal’s List, is a forum to reflect on educational issues of our time.
